Just had my 3 year anniversary

YEE HAA!!!!! I've come from 348 down to 159, 16 sizes gone, and I can cross my legs, walk several miles instead of several feet, and men open doors for me now....go figure. How is your weight loss going???? Rachel

Rachael, Hi there and how are you? I can feel what you are saying. I now don't have to open too many doors. Isn't it sad that we are judged by our outer appearance. I just celebrated my 3 year anniversay on 12/15/06. I am 3 years post-op. I have maintained my weight, up 10lbs down 10 lbs and range anywhere from 140-150lbs. I am still wearing a Size 8. I started my journey at near 300 lbs,and got down to 245 before my surgery. I can cross my legs and I am enjoying life. Happy Anniversary again to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lorraine

Conbratulations Rachel! Having lost too much weight at one year post op, I am happy to say I am at a healthier weight....I'm 5'5" and weight 125-128 pounds. Far cry from 230 that I was nearly at three years ago and the 113 that I was one year post op. I just need to resolve to exercise more this year....I had cut back when I needed to stop losing weight.
