Happy Sunday to all!!!!!!!!!!
Hi to all my December friends and those also who visit here!!!
How is everyone doing?
I am fine.
I want to shout out a to ...Darrol, Nona, Alison, Sunny, Md, Terry, Stephen, and to all I have forgotten.
Where are you guys?
I am doing well. As of July 1st I moved in with my boyfriend, and things are doing well so far.?
What are you guys doing with yourselves lately?
I am working hard as usual. I do have some knee troubles, but after the weight loss it seems better, but the damage is done, from being so obese with those skinny legs I always had.
How are you guys with your Weight Loss?
My weight loss is steady and has been maintained. I feel great.
My last question is....
What are your plans for your 3 year anniversary?
I am going to and celebrate this wonderful life God has blessed me with.
Stop in and say
Take care
Lorraine
Dear Lorraine,
I am happy to hear that things are going well with your boyfriend. Did you move into his place or he moved in yours?
I have been very busy and I think I am going to be very busy for a LONG time. I LOVE this house (and I am hoping we get to keep it) and if it is ours, we have a lot of painting and such to do. It is VERY outdated. Reminds me of the Brady Bunch era.
The twins are still going to school in our old neighborhood, so I have to drive them there every day. It means we all have to get up very early in the morning and I am so tired by the time I go to bed I am asleep before I hit the pillow.
I am maintaining my weight, but I am not normal weight sooooo...
I didn't really plan anything for the 3 year anniversary. I would like to go do something fun though. All we have been doing is working working and more working.
God Bless. I am so happy you keep in touch.
Hi there Alison, I am glad to hear from you. My boyfriend owns his own home so I moved with him. His elderly father lives in the downstairs apartment. His Mom is in a nursing home. She has been in a vegatative state for about 3 years. His Dad is going to be 87. I think he can't function too muich longer and soon will be placed in nursing.
I am homesick, and it's taking me time to feel my way around. I lived in my old apartment for 30 years. It is getting easier. My boyfriend is very kind and understanding. I made sure I made the right move after almost 2 years together. I will soon be divorced, but I need to live with my boyfriend awhile to make sure we are compatable. At this time in my life I will be glad to say "SINGLE" again.
I am glad things are working well with your home. I am sure painting is just minor. I am glad you are happy. I am sure the twins are adorable. When they are grown you will miss them being around. My baby will be 30 next month.
Keep in touch Alison and take care.
Lorraine
Hi Lorraine....I hope the "big move" continues to go well and you both grow together in a wonderful comapionship. My DH and I just celebrated 34 years of marriage in August. Next year, I think we are going to do something grand for our 35th.
I'm in my last nursing semester and hopefully I'll have that RN license by January 07. I am right in the middle of med-surg. My final 8 weeks will be Nursing Leadership. My pinning is December 13.
We are finally getting the roof repaired after nearly 14 months. We are at the point now where the tile has been ordered. When it comes in, placement should take only 3-4 days. Then we start on the driveway and pool area patio. I know it will be a mess.
My youngest grandson (2 yrs old) broke his foot just before Labor Day. He jumped off the bed...hit his foot wrong. The other grandson is playing baseball...he's in the first grade this year. He's reading on a 6th grade level. My "blonde bombshell"
granddaughter will be 2 in November...she's something else! She has a mind of her own.
My Weight is stable 120-125. Still wearing 2's and 4's. I don't eat bread at all. Chicken and eggs still make me sick. Since it has been so hot I have enjoyed getting my protein in a cold smoothie from a health frood store that is close. I feel good physically but mentally I still battle "miss fat". I haven't thought too much about how I'm going to celebrate years #3 post op.....does it seem possible?
Keep checkin' in occassionally....me, too.
