Prayers for Madelene
Sounds awesome Klee!! I was waiting for your review on him. I have my consult on June 16th so I am gearing up for it. You sound just like me in not knowing what damn surgery to do, but I have come to terms with both and whichever one fate deals me is the one I will do.
So did he say how much the dietitian and social worker cost?
I'm so happy that everything went so well for you! The info about the DS is interesting as well. I know of several people who have had that procedure and absolutely rave about it but like any procedure there are pros and cons for all off them and those of us who choose to go RNY will rave as do those who have the mini-GB. As I've said before, it all comes down to our own personal preferences and choices. After all, we have to live with the choices we make so we have to be comfortable with them. Congratulations on taking this first step...here's to a speedy journey to the losing side!!!
What a great positive experience! Its wonderful to have an understanding doctor to really take the time to explain. In the end, it all comes down to personal preference, doesnt it.
And we are happy with our choices as a rule because it works for us! I am so thrilled with my decision to have RnY...and though I still struggle to eat enough protein and drink enough water, I se each day as a new adventure !
Youre well on your way now! *s*
