Topic: One Year Today!!! 213 Down!!
Hi gang. Well, my wife woke me up this morning singing happy anniversary. I was a little bewildered until I realized that it was one year ago today that I went under the knife.
I was 515 when I went in. After 12 months of ups and downs (all downs on weekly weight loss) I have come to a place where I really cant belive. I have discovered the foods I can't eat and those I can. I have learned that I can move more and keep up with my daughters. I have learned that I can even, uhmm, well, nevermind Lets just say my wife is happy.
I am down to 301. For the past month I have stayed right in that area. I so want to get under 300. But that will come. I am so excited that I can wear a 2X and do all my shoping at WalMart, or elese where if I chose. No more exobanant prices at KingSize.
It's sometimes hard to imagein how much I have lost. The other day we where at Sams Club. I picked up a 60 pound bag of Dog food and had a rough time carrying it to the cart. Then my wife told me that I used to carry around 3 and a half of them around. Man, I have no idea how I even lived my life before the surgery.
Well, Life now revolves around more importnatn things than food. It is a relife to beable to do so much more. I love it.

Hi all, I've been so busy these past few months I haven't had time to post or even visit the site. My anniversary date is 12/17. 1 year ago. I've lost about 110lbs. I wi**** were more but I'm truly grateful for the surgery and my surgeon, Ruary O'Connell. It's been a wonderful year. I can do so much now because I'm getting healthy and losing weight. Thank you all for being here. Have a happy holiday season. Take care, Beth
