14 months from birthday
Well, its been 14 months since surgery and I'm down over 160 pounds and still going. Moving very slowly right now. I'm still eating correctly and I'm still working out. Infact I've just added 3 aerobics classes to my normal routine to pick up the pace on the weight loss. I feel good, look great. Have done a makeover with myself, hair etc and have lots of fun with people not recognizing me. Its a fun thing it is! I have a bleeding ulcer that we are tending to otherwise I am doing wonderfully. I do not regret doing this at all. Yes, I still want to eat and I do try things. I've tried almost everything I've ever eaten in my life. I know what I can and cannot eat and then what I should and should not. If I want to try it, I try it... this keeps me safe and not wanting it. I love the new me and I haven't loved me in a long time. I take no medications except my vitamins, B12, Calcium and prevacid. I'm off all other medications and I was on 8 before.
Jeannie
Hi Jeannie,
I was the woman that was in the hospital the same day as you and had my surgery just hours before you did. I'm glad to hear your doing great. I am too. I am down from 294 to 153 and am wearing size 10 or 12. I am about where I want to be. I am hoping to have my plastic surgery in July. That should take me down a few more pounds and I will be very satisfied. Have you had or are you planning to have plastic surgery? Would love to hear from you!
