hi everyone!!!!
Well DUH! I got so into REAL life I have not been on here in a cpl months and did not know this board was here! I had my surgery on 12/13/02. My starting weight was 331 (unofficial) and 321 ( I didnt get weighed the day of surgery). I am down to 204. I have a question. Sometimes I feel like I can eat WAY lots more than I should! I work out between 1 1/2 - 2 hours per day and am wondering if this is the cause of my better appetite.....has anyone else had this problem?
I also went back home to FL to visit for my HS 20th reunion and saw my family for the first time. First time in my life my dad was EVER speechless... hehehe
Anyone on here in VA?
Hope to make some friends and I need to get my butt on here more that every three months!
Diane
Hi Diane,
I hear what you are saying about having an appeite at times. It scares me also. Some tell me drinking while eating can stretch the pouch but my doctors office says no. I wish I knew why it was possible at times to eat a normal meal it seems and some times its not. Maybe its the way we chew it, I don't know. If you get answers to this please let me know. I am happy to know that I am not the only one that experiences this. How is the weight loss going for you. I am almost 8 months and its not nearly as fast. I seemed to hit a plateau when I started the gym. That was depressing but I didn't give up. I do believe though, if consuming to many carbs can cause more eating cause they are empty calories. Try more proteins that seems to make a difference for me on the days I don't seem to eat as much.
Good Luck.
