Amazed As Each Day Goes By

I am totally and happily amazed each day that I am losing. I've lost 112 to date and without the help of my surgeon I could not have started on this journey. I just could not do it alone. But since the RNY surgery I have had more interest in life, I feel more alive, I feel better period. I walk, exercise, breathe easier, off meds, and like I first said I'm a happier person. FOr the first time in 15 years I can see myself beginning to get healthy again and will soon be back to my normal weight for my height, something I've not seen for 20 years. I just could not do this alone and I thank God for everyone on this site, my surgical team and my personal support team. But most important I thank God for giving me the support and courage to do something "for me" I just simply can't stand it when I get on that scale and keep going down. I can't wait to see the New "old" me...Yes, I'm not getting older, I'm getting better each and every single day.

Thanks for your extremely upbeat and positive message! I am at 3 months and hope I am as joyous as you at 6 months!

Hi, Don't know if you remember me or not. I'm I guess what you can call your twin sister. I'm older by about 4 hours I believe. My surgery was with Dr Bauman at 7 o'clock and I believe yours was at around 11. I'm doing great. I've lost 99 pounds down to 195. I can't believe I have a 1 at the beginning of my weight. Glad to hear you are doing well. Hope to hear from you soon, Susie Chaney
