12/23/2002 LAP RNY

Hello everyone, I just wanted to post that I had my lap rny surgery on 12/23/2002 and as of 5/1, I am down 101lbs. It was a rough start, but I am currently loving life. I wish you all great success and happiness.

Hey Mark, I had my surgery December 10, 2002 and I am down a little bit over 70. I feel the same as you. I am loving life! It is so wonderful to be able to bend over and tie my shoes without cutting off my oxygen supply.

Hi! I had my surgery on 12/24/02 and am now -186lbs ...I started off at 506lbs! Loving life as well.....I cant wait till I am down under 250! I would also like to wish you great success and happiness through out the rest of your journey and life! Jes

Hello Mark. CONGRATULATIONS on reaching the century club. I'M NEXT!!! LOL as Im typing I just may be already a member of that club. LOL. anyhow, My wls was done by Dr. Pasupathy on 12/6/02. No complications, rough healing at first but everyday got better. I have been enjoying my wl journey ever since. I have a long road ahead but that's alright I will do what I have to do. Im happy to hear you are doing better and is enjoying your new life. take care and God bless...Hugs

HI, I had open rny on 12-31-02. What a way to bring in the new year. I am down about 67lbs. I feel so much better about myself. Of course the first week I couldn't believe I had done this to myself but now I regret not doing it sooner!!! Good Luck to everyone and keep up the good work!!!

Hi, I had Lap RNY Dec 10th and I have currently down 105 pounds. I know I would not have been able to do it without the surgery. Glad to hear everyone else is doing so well.

Hi There! I had lap RNY on Dec. 2, 2002. I am down 82 lbs! What a Godsend this surgery was for me. On May 9th, however, I had to have emergency surgery to remove an adhesion that had wrapped around my intestine, BUT, I would do this surgery again in a HEARTBEAT! I am wearing size 14! My BMI is in the "overweight' and not the "obese" category. You all are my support and inspiration! Thank you!
