Hi there, Sorry about the 30 extra pounds with the new baby, but you have so much more to be thankful for with you new joy and you're still down!! Try your best to stay focused on the little one while taking into consideration the rest of the weight that you've lost. Then, think back to basics... small portions, no grazing, lots of water and some exercise!

Me too. My daughter was born 2/2/04 and I still am not losing weight. I haven't had the energy to walk every day consistently. I keep going back to the Pouch rules for dummies. Small bites, chew throughly, drink my water, exercise, and no grazing (this one is really hard for me right now because I'm breastfeeding). But wasn't it wonderful to have a baby! Just hang in there. Follow the rules, let your body adjust to post pregnancy, and enjoy your new baby. Hugs, Rebecca

Topic: Looking for someone
I had my surgery 12/27/01 in Grand Haven, MI. I am looking for the girl that I shared my room with. I remember her first name is Mary. Just hoping she gets on this site. I would like to get in contact with her. Thanks for your help.

I just found this link. I am two years 12/10. It is wonderful to be stabilized but now i have this overwhelming fear of weight gain! It stresses me out and makes me want to eat, which it seems i can eat anything i want. I have never been a big dumper, and sugar doesn't bother me. I have lost 140 lbs and fluctuation about 10 lbs. When are your getting married? That is wonderful.

I AM TWO YEARS AND FOUR DAYS POST OP. I HAVE LOST A TOTAL OF 288 POUNDS SO FAR AND STILL LOOSING. THIS SURGERY HAS MADE SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE. I HAVE GONE FROM A TIGHT SIZE 56 PANTS TO A 9-10. WOW....WOW....WOW....I JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST 9-10 AND AM SO EXCITED. MY HUBBY AND I SOLD EVERYTHING WE HAD AND BOUGHT A MOTOR HOME. WE ARE NOW TRAVELING. I WOULD HAVE NEVER TRIED THIS AT OVER 400 POUNDS. I HAVE A LIFE TODAY. I HAVE SO MUCH ENERGY AND PAZZAZZZZ IT IS UNREAL. I THANK GOD AND DR. GLADEN FOR THIS. I COULD HAVE NEVER DONE THIS WITHOUT EITHER ONE OF THEM. GOD BLESS THE ONES WAITING. IT IS WELL WORTH IT. KEEP HANGING IN. I LOVE EVERYONE AND TODAY....I LOVE MYSELF.
