With deep sadness........we honor Dr. Alberto Aceves.
Watching movies late at nite I found myself with that tel-tale click in the throat and realized it corresponded to headache and lung pain that morning (this happened several times over months before I made the connection). Then Applying my C-pap to watch movies cured the uncomfortable symptoms. Anyone else use their C-pap for times other than sleeping?
It could be your caloric intake. I try not to go over 600 calories per day. Make sure to consume the recommended protein as well. Another tip is to keep a food journal. This helps me tremendously! Log every bite that you eat.
Hi everyone! I have some questions. I started my pre op diet on Nov 13, surgery was Nov. 20. All together I have lost 33 pounds. Three weeks ago I gained 3 pounds. I finally lost those extra pounds. But for the last 2 weeks I have stayed the same. Am I over eating or doing something wrong? I try hard to ge****er in but I know I do not get all I need in. Same with protein and I started walking on a treadmill last weekend. I tracked my calories and I think for the most part I'm staying under 800 calories a day. I am 5'3 and 188 pounds. Thank you all for the advise, I just don't know what I need to do.

Glad you are doing well. I loved my surgery forum before it was very supportive. This seems very quiet but may pick up eventually. Hope you are healing well! :)
It's quiet here so thought I'd say hi =) Congrats on your revision! I'm a few days out from surgery and hanging in there. Every day, so far, I feel great and recovered from one stage but seem to discover a "fun" new one to encounter!
I had revision surgery one ago today and am feeling pretty good. My original RNY was done in 2006 and I lost a total of 144 pounds but regained 70 of that in the last year. I was approved for surgery and now am recovering. I Have lost 11 pounds since last Tuesday but I am on a liquid diet until December 6th when I see the surgeon again. My original surgery as well as this one were done open and my incision is tender but healing well. Just wanted to say hi and offer support. I remember going through this the first time the surgery month board helped me as we all were going through the same things. Good luck everyone.
Good luck, and I hope everything is going great! Can't wait to hear how both of you are doing!
