Finally, a surgery date. I am so excited. Nov. 21, 2011.

Surgery will be at Providence, and I have such a supportive group of family and friends.

Doing a low-carb, high-protein diet for two weeks, then all clear liquids the day before. easy stuff!

Really looking forward to the journey.

I just got my date yesterday. I hope to find some "surgery siblings" to stay in touch with.

I'm in Virginia, and will be having my procedure at UVA in Charlottesville, with Dr. Schirmer. Can't wait!

Dr. Schirmer suggests low carb/high protein diet for me pre surgery, with clear liquids the day before surgery. So, that's the plan. Super happy that I won't be doing an extended liquid diet prior to surgery.

Loads of info at the dietician class! Came home to take a two hour nap. I have so many more questions for my Monday pre op now!

Thank you..I have my pre-op class on Monday...thank you for responding, it took me forever to figure this site out..it's not like regular email..Keep intouch
