I've been waiting for so long to have wls. Back in 2006 I was approved and had a surgery date, but for various insurance dilemmas, I was unable to go through with it. The GOOD NEWS is that I have a surgery date now, as of a few days ago, and I'm very excited about living a healthier future!
I'd like to connect with people who are going through the LAPRISCOPIC GASTRIC BYPASS or who have already gone through it.

I too just got my surgery date...Nov. 10th. I know exactly how you're feeling! I wonder why I don't have to do a preop liquid diet? I only have one day of it. Anyways...Congrats to all of yous and stay in touch!

My surgery date is scheduled for 11/7/2011 at 9:00 a.m. I'm hoping to meet others with the same surgery date or just around the same time so we can share our experiences and shrink together! :)

I JUST got my surgery date (11/14/11). I'm so excited I could spit! I feel like I've been jumping through so many hoops I should have LOST all the weight by now! HA I've just been starting looking at these sites here and reading the WONDERFUL support online. I'd love the friendships. SO excited about the new changes! Congrats to everyone on the big step forward!!

Hi, this is my first post! My surgery date is November 8th and I am going through all the same emotions that you are!I have to do the Optifast for 3 weeks before the surgery, I am not going to be a happy girl, my co-workers have all been warned, lol.

Congrats!! My date is Nov 1st. I am starting a 4 week skim milk diet on tuesday! I have all of those feelings and more! I would like to invite you to my group. I started a group for the fall of 2011 surgery dates so we could share with people on the same page as us! I would love for you to come over and any suggestions are welcome!! Hope we have a chance to catch up, i think i know exactly how you feel!!

I'm excited to have my surgery date !! I'm nervous, scared, excited, elated. Too many emotions.......words can't describe !! I'm afraid of the 2 week preop liquid diet.....Since I'm the first to post on this forum, I can't wait for others to start posting.....please friend me !
