my surgery is 11/28!!!!

I just got my date yesterday.  I hope to find some "surgery siblings" to stay in touch with.

I'm in Virginia, and will be having my procedure at UVA in Charlottesville, with Dr. Schirmer.  Can't wait!  

Dr. Schirmer suggests low carb/high protein diet for me pre surgery, with clear liquids the day before surgery.  So, that's the plan.  Super happy that I won't be doing an extended liquid diet prior to surgery.

My surgery is on the 28th also, I am so excited and can't wait. 

I live in Arizona and am having the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. I will have to be doing a two week liquid diet before my surgery.
