Hi everyone. I posted an introduction on the RNY board, but thought I'd touch base with my fellow November-ers. I am really looking at my surgery date as a re-birth and a new beginning for me. Good luck to everyone as we get ready to board this crazy ride!

I agree - I've heard so many different stories about recovery -every one is different - some go easily some have a hard time with recovery and pain and subsequent complications.
Here's hoping out surgeries go well and relatively pain free.

Are you as totally scared as I am? LOL When I say scared I mean of pain...the entire experience really. I don't get sick often (knock on wood) and I would like to think that I am pretty tough...but this really does scare me.
