hungry already
At this point, it's most likely "head hunger" - a very common phenomenon after WLS. We're all used to eating a whole lot more, and your brain just takes time to wrap around the idea that you just can't eat as much (if at all - 3 days out). Just remind her to trust the program, and do what her surgeon and nutritionist tell her to do, and she'll do fine. When I was at that stage, every time I felt "hungry" I would take a few sips of Isopure, then get up and walk. It helped a lot. Encourage her to walk as much as she can.
I had surgery on the 8th of November and got my hunger back within a week....It was pretty depressing. Just tell your girl to keep to the portion amounts she's supposed to be having and it tames the hunger. I finish eating my 4 ounces and it still takes at least 5 minutes for the full feeling to set it, but it does set in. She will get used to it! Good luck!
