November 23

My surgery date is November 23 (that's right 2 days before Thanksgiving, but that's OK).  That is just 5 days from today and the emotions/nerves are setting in.  I've had to keep myself real busy today to keep my brain quiet.  On the positive side of that, you should see my house...LOL!!! 

I'm as prepared for this as a person can be, but I just cannot picture myself on the other side.  I've had a weight problem for so long now it is difficult for me to remember not having one.  I've got great support all around me, sometimes I think maybe too much (ha, is that possible??). 

I think I'm going to be on here a lot over the next several days.

My surgery is the same day!  I also have the feeling of not being able to see myself on the losing end.  Our minds are good at playing tricks ;)

Saw that you were having surgery Nov 23.  How did everything go?  Feeling ok?  Mine is set for Dec 29th.
