Hey how are we all doing? I never see any activity on this forum anymore. I'd just like to update all of my November family on my progress and see how everyone is doing. I am down 106 lbs and have not had any major issues. I am loving life and an working on another 80 llbs lost to complete my journey. I am working on running on the treadmill (im more scared than anything) and am enjoying going to the gym, when I go! lol!

I have been drinking the Nectar protien mixes.  Most of them are very good.  I really like the cappachino flavor, my 14 year old daughter is even drinking that one.  They aren't very thick because you can mix them with either water or milk, I use water most of the time.   They come in a variety of flavors.  I also take biotin, I'm not so sure that's doing much, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try.

Hello everyone!  Better late then never right?  LOL!

My highest was 305 but I lost weight prior to surgery.  As of surgery date my starting weight was 288.  As of today I am 197!  ONDERLAND!!!!!!!!!!   I have hit a few stalls along the way but I am not beating myself up over it whatsoever.  I will say that staying on the straight and narrow is a little harder now that my tummy is not as sensitive.   Carbs go down so easy and I want to nosh on carbs. When I get into a carb crave I try to eat more beans and a bit of fruit.  I love popcorn and can eat way more then I am comfortable with.  So I need to start buying the mini bags to controll it.   Seems my tummy can hold so much more.  I posted new pics on my blog if any of you want to take a look!  CONGRATS TO YOU ALL!

Hello all!! Doing well on this end. I am almost 100lbs down! I bought a medium the other day and could not believe it. My hubby was like..."babe, babe...you realize ya just bought a medium!" LOL! So life has changed alot for me. I am very active now and enjoy being able to keep up with all 5 of my children. I still have a ways to go, but I'm just taking one day at a time. No complications...all my bloodwork it perfect. So I am cleared untill my 1 year post op appointment.

Forever greatful for a second chance!

HI, well i don't have alot of hair to start with, but around 3 to 4 months the whole top of my head fell out. I am not kidding. I freaked out only made it worse. So I decided to start on biotin and zinc. Since then the hairs on the top of my head are growing back.
Stress and all other items do play havoc on your head. So, my advice is add these two vitamins and work on lowering your stress. It Will run its course and be back. Hope this helped. give a yell if u need more information of how to be bald and not cry?lol Take care.

Topic: RE: May- 6months!!

I had my surgery Nov 12th.  I was 240 on Nov. 1st and am currently weighing 178.  I haven't lost anything in the past month.  But, I'm getting back to basics and hoping I can get my scale moving soon!!!  Or else I'm seriously pitching it out the window!!!

I've also been eating egg salad regularly!  I also eat a lot of chicken salad, string cheese, and special K protein bars.

I've been stuck at this weight for a while but, I did buy a size 12 dress for a wedding I'm going next month.  It's a tiny bit snug but, according to everyone else it looks perfect (i'm just really self concious i guess!).

My other big wow was when I officially left the obese category.  I'm now just overweight. Of course the victory was short lived as i immediately started picturing the day I hit the "normal" category!!!!  I know it will happen soon!

I haven't really had any complications.  I've dumped a few times and had some really stuck food a few times but, that's it.

Look forward to hearing how others are doing!
