We're actually in the final leg.  This was his 5th deployment, so we're pretty used to it (I say that now that we're counting down days instead of months, but this one really stunk). 

Darnall is the post hospital.  Not my favorite place LOL.  At least they're sending me off post for the surgery. 

My surgery date is Nov 17^th.  I started this whole process in Aug so I have been testing, researching, and going to support groups for a few months.  My pre-op is this Wed and I am starting to get nervous.  I try to remind myself, “Keep your eyes on the prize".  I’ve met so many people that have done very well and are so much healthier.  The little voice still creeps in, saying" are you sure you want to do this?" “What if something happens"

Anyone else getting jittery?

Congrats on getting all of your pre-op stuff done!  I used to live in Killeen when my DH (now X) and I were in the Army.  My first born was actually born at the hospital on base...Darnall, I think, was the name? 

Do you have a support system in place since your DH is in Iraq?
