i can totally relate to you. I am having my also RNY on monday the 9th. I have never been so emotional and hungry / frustrated for food until now!! I know its all in my mind but it sucks. Its almost like a part of me wants to turn back and say don't do it, keep eating.... Its sooo sad. Its relieving some to know some people get emotional like this, Thanks for sharing your story I felt like i was the only one!! Good Luck and best wishes to you!!

Topic: RNY Monday and Scared to expect the unexpected!!

I am having my surgery Mon. so far I am not well with this liquid thingy for the week. Its been hard for me, not sure why either!! I am soo scared I will crave the foods I love and not be able to eat them, almost like being hungry and there is no food. I hope I do not want to eat or get that hunger feeling. I am soo scared yet excited. I am almost walking like a zombie not sure what to expect. I want this soo bad and I will do it, i am 100lbs over weight and need to feel good. But its the thought of everything passing my mind all together at once! I still have not found any protein shakes, any ideas?

Oh girl know how you feel. When I told my hubby my surgery date, 11/16, he otld me that he had to work. I boo hoo d'. It was ugly. Thankfully my friends said that they are coming with me. I didn't want to be alone while waiting. I wanted to know someone was going to be there when I woke up. I boo hoo d' until my hubby said he was taking. I hope you have someone there with you. I a going to put in my phone your surgery so I can think about you and send you positive energy. What time is your surgery? I will be home on the 18 so I will have the reminder. Best wishes to you.

Topic: Possible Surgery Postponement

Hi all - well I am sincerely bummed out. I got a call from my doctor's office today. They said that my program fee payment was due next week ($3900), which means they want it before the surgery. They never told me that when they told me about the fee. Since I have to borrow the money from my 401K to pay for the surgery, it takes some time to get it. Fortunately, less than I thought. i should have it within 15 business days, but that would be after the date of my surgery. Doctor's office closes at 1400 on Fridays, so they are gone til next week and I can't tell them all this. How do YOU spell frustration?
