I have noticed the leg crossing thing, too - never was able to do that before - so fun!! I am down 3 sizes in clothing, also fun. Not noticing space things, but getting weird aches and pains, too. I have a lot of pain in my middle back - and seems to be related to my bra. Can it be my breasts are not as supported as they were with all the fat gone, and they are pulling more on my shoulders? Is that possible??? Weird pain!! Otherwise doing well.

I am down about 35 lb since surgery, 20 before for a grand total of 55. I am content, that is over 10 lb/month since the journey started, and that is a good weight loss. I haven't had some of the issues, but I have had hunger issues, and discovered I am carb sensitive. If I stay away from all processed carbs like crackers, pasta, bread I stay full, so am just on proteins. Suits my lifestyle at this point, so I am content. Glad you are all doing well, too!

Sooo kids, we have stated in to month 3. woo hoo. I feel good, I'm looking good, eating little amounts of food, Lets talk about, what are some areas we 3 November'ers are finding interesting? It can be good or it can be bad or just odd or funny.
I will share one of my weired's.
I was asked to give the prayer in front of the whole church. I had to Delcine? why? ???? I have issues with the space, I no longer use up, "less me!!!", means more space. People are closer, walls farther away, the tub is larger, my clothes are falling off,"space" my shoes are too big. I kicked a "flat" across the room, darn near killed a kid walking, who would think? Now you would think that is good thing (thanks Martha), not so much for me..I'm not comfortable in my space yet and how my body looks and feels. I Think this is funny.
Also, I wonder if walking on the treadmill has brought out some knee pain. ORRRRRR, is it because I can cross my legs now and sit like that a lot? Again with the space thing. I guess if that is the worst of my day. I'm good. hee hee.  Kids, Please don't leave me here alone with no other issues to share.
Well, Take care , Drop a line and hold down your lunch.

I think my surgery was the exact same day.  I'm down 28 pounds from my 243 surgery weight.  Haven't gotten sick or had problems with any foods either.  It's very weird to me because I feel like I did before surgery.  I didn't know I'd be able to eat 3 oz of fish or chicken with a vegetable for a meal.  I was imaging just a few spoonfuls of things.  I can drink tea, water, V8, protein shakes well. All vegetables I've tried have gone down well.  I haven't felt really full though either, like many people say they do--It really is surprising how absolutely different each of our bodies (and minds, I'm sure) are affected.  The last couple of days I've started to feel hungry again, which is a bummer--I was hoping that period would last longer for me.

I've been very good about getting my 100grams of protein a day, and vitamins, but to do so requires a significant amount of  work and planning and tracking.  With only 2 at a time, I have to be thinking about taking them all day so I don't end up with a pile of them at night.  I'm trying to not get overwhemed with the responsibility of it so I don't scare myself.  I'm going to spend a wad at the celebrate site because I've heard they have decent tasting chewables.  i'm still gagging down some liquid multivitimin that are so bad, a whiff of the smell and I can't do it.

I'm going to work on finding some recipies to try as well as some new protein drinks that I can find economically.

my favoite new treat is the tall decalfe soy latte. 9 grams of protein within sweet frothy goodness for $3.95 at Starbucks, expensive but guarateed to make you feel more normal in he world.

I had some of your same issues. I bought Centrum Chewables. I can tolerate the taste of those better. Also the egg and the pain in my pouch when I eat. I tried eggs again...and can eat them now. I put a little salsa on them to make sure they're moist. And I still get the pain in my pouch when I eat too fast, don't chew really well, or eat something that is too dry. I hope things get better for you. I think it all has to do with us figuring out what works best for us individually. Let your doctor know your concerns and keep us posted.

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well.  I had my surgery on 11/17 and have lost about 40lbs. I have had some issues as well.  I found that I can't drink anything cold because it causes pain in my pouch.  I'm having a very difficult time forcing myself to take my vitamins.  I started on chewable calcium which is great but the vitamins, I'm having a hard time getting down.  I had chewable vitamins but I couldn't tolerate the taste of them and they made me gag.  Everything I eat causes an aching pain in my stomach, it lasts for about an hour after eating and then it's gone.  My hardest time is in the morning.  That first bit of food really hurts by stomach.  Eggs make me sick, I'm not sure what it is about them.  I found that around 5pm is the only time I can tolerate food and my stomach doesn't hurt.  Not sure what I'm doing wrong.  Does anyone else have any similiar issues as well?

Hey...new to this forum...didn't even know I could talk with mostly all people who had surgery around the same time as me. This is great!!! I had surgery on 11/23 and have lost 36lbs. I just came off a 4WEEK stall. I had lost 71lbs before surgery. I just hope it'll start coming off steadily for a while again.
