Slider foods will pass right through. I am learning that when i drink more liquids during the day and night I eat less. I love the fruit punch crytal light. Its good. After a while I stop and do plain water..then that gets old and I go back to fruit punch. Let me know if you like it. When I put it in my bottle I take a sip or two from the water then add the crystal light.

In other words, make it more concentrated? Will try it. I bought the protein drink stuff I started on after surgery, too - I liked the Wild Berry flavor, and the addl protein can't hurt, either. Thanks again for the help. Heading to the gym now for my workout, even though it is 90 degrees here.

With the fruit punch not too concentrated..just a couple small sips because it will have that funny taste to it. I like it especially when it is super cold. lol. If you are doing the honey tea you want to make it more concentrated. The honey tea is really soft.  Chobani strawberry greek yogurt is good too, but you don't do well with fruit, so maybe not so good for you..hmmm..

I am doing well, I have 2 triathlons coming up, one in September and one in October. I am doing a half marathon in November. All the races I have been doing and training for the races has been keeping me on track. I hit my goal weight last week and trying to figure out this maintenance thing.

Wow..You are a busy person! Maintenance is what I am waiting for. You have already reached goal? That is wonderful. What was your starting weight? How much did you lose? If I had stayed on track I would probably have reached goal, but I slipped off. Now I am back on track with my eating habits. Keep up the good work and congrats on a job well done.

To stay I track I do all the races (running races, triathlons, bike races,etc.). Knowing that there is always that next race keeps me in line. I don't know if I dump, haven't tested the waters. My daughter turns 4 in September and I plan on trying the birthday cake,we'll be home so if it happens it happens,to me,eating the occasional birthday cake is part of life.

Joan & slimming down,
I am so happy I found this post. I feel the same as both of you. I lost 85 lbs, I have 30 to go. I have been sabotaging myself with carbs and no exercise the past 2 months and the scale shows that. I am ashamed that I am failing the tool and myself.I think I am getting depressed which is probably due to the lack of daily exercise. Thanks for posting. In respect to the fruit punch Crystal Light, i did make 3 ice cube trays of it and suck on them instead of banging down 2-3 no sugar added Klondike bars a night. One small step... Please keep posting, I am getting inspired by you. Thanka again.

Hey...have to say, I'm seriously struggling. I lost 71 lbs before surgery in 8 months and have lost 76 in 8 months since the surgery. I guess my expectations were higher. I mean, why would I opt to have my stomach cut on when I could lose the same amount without surgery? Just a little down about that. But...I did have some VERY stressful and traumatic events happen after surgery as well. And during both of those I hit between a 5 and 8 week stall. I just don't get it. I mean sure...I could do things a little better as far as diet and exercise but.... Well, I guess I could just work on doing better. Did anyone else lose alot before and then not so much after surgery??

I have done well in my sugery.  Like others have have dealt with some stall for sure.  The weight loss has drastically decreased but I chalk that up to me getting smaller as well.  I have noticed that even when the scale is playing with the same few pounds for 2 weeks I am still some how losing inches.  I only have about 25 more pounds to get to my personal goal so I really cant complain.  I expect to get to that before I am a full month out and thats good enough for me.  BTW I posted bathing suit pics on my latest blogs...im not barbie, just happy to be able to wear a suit again in public lol!

After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
