No Turkey For Me!!!! Surgery Date Nov.25th

I cannot believe I am finally here.  I have a DATE!! Nov. 25th  and about time, I started this long journey in Aug 2007 and tried to get approved thru my husband's insurance and they denied me and I just did not have the fight in me to go thru the appreals process. That was in May of last year.  Now I have restarted this journey with my own insurance in Aug 2009 and was approved in Oct. 6th .

I cannot wait till the surgery is done and to begin my new banded life.

Congrats!  Here I thought 3-4 months was a long battle and you've been going for 2 years!

Yeah its been a long journey but coming to an end and a great new journey is beginning.  This is why I hate insurance companies.  Although I found out recently my husbands supervisor had the lapband and the HR office pushed his through so he had the same issue with their insurance company I did, only they helped him.

But I am happy with the decisions I have made for me, and this time around I am determined.  Nothing is going  to stand in my way.
