I know it seems a bit odd to chose just a few days before thanksgiving for a surgery like this, but the overeating madness has to stop somewhere...so why not here?

I live in Denver and My Surgeon is Dr. Chae, I've heard nothing but great things.

My mom is coming from TN to help me with preop fasting, preperation, and post op care.
My friend Megan is ... she just is great... and I dont know what she has up her sleeve but I know i have her support
My girlfriend Lisa, she is great and will make sure I stay out of my head and open up.

 Girl I'm not even thinkin of turkey day! My fam like wont u have it after that so u can get ur last big meal wit us. I said hell to the no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had labor day which we got down and that was enough for me. So to say we had plenty of turkey days b4 and now we tryin to be healthy  so parting my french F turkey day far as food. lmao. Any way get as prepare as u can now cuz my date is the 3rd and its knockin on the door . good luck

I understand where you're coming from. I've been trying to cut back on my eating and its such a struggle, so I am so lookingforward to not wanting an ounce on thanksgiving. It has to stop somewhere right?

November 24th for me too!  No turkey and pumpkin pie this year--and I'm totally OK with that!!  It's actually a good time to be out of work since very little takes place between Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Hey ladies, I too was not thinking about Turkey day, who cares in my mind.  Let my family eat the turkey heck I will be in the hospital on Thanksgiving.  I will have chicken broth and tea.  Honestly I am sure all I will want to do is go home and sleep the first day anyways.

My surgery date is Nov. 25th.

Right on! Way to go to your mom. My mom said she would do the same. I dont think she'll last too long though, I appreciate her wanting to though.  I live in Denver with no family and my mom is coming in from out of state to help take care of me. Gotta love family!
