Hi Ladymoya,

I've been going to support groups at my surgeon's office almost since the beginning of this process. They have really been helpful. I missed last month because I was in OC that week. The next one, for me, is October 14th, which is the day before my meeting with the surgeon when I hope to get my surgery date. It's not going to be as early as I hoped because of the jaw surgery I must have on October 27. I'm not sure how long he's going to want to wait after one surgery before I have another. I'm almost 63 and don't bounce back as quickly as I did in my 30's or 40's!

I guess the period after my jaw surgery will be a good opportunity to try both various liquid meals and soft/puree meals like I'll do after I'm banded. Ah well, I just have to turn it all over to a "Higher Power" and trust that he didn't bring me this far to drop me on my butt!

I cant believe it's less than a month away now! I am soooo excited. I would like to go to another support group at Bayview. When is the next one? I been going to my weekly Sat meetings with a Psychiatrist. It's really nice going to that every week. Get me through this damn Oct!
