I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it.  I'm about to lose my mind and I think I like it!

Happy Happy Joy Joy!   It just took a grueling 4 days to get insurance approval on first try. (sorry, had to brag.)

Good for you. But you suck. I have been trying since May to get mine approve!!!

On the journey to losing weight, your friends & family will be the first people to try to knock you off. They do this not out spite, but out of being convicted and knowing they should do the same. It's easier to put someone down for doing the right thing, than for them to actually do it. So at your next family re-union or wherever you are eat your chicken and broccoli and smile when they make jokes about you, they are jealous!

Congratulations!!  It has taken me about a year to go through all testing, approval requirements, etc.  My first request was denied, but my second was approved.  Best wishes to you on your surgery.  :o)

Seth and Jessica:  I am sorry that it has taken so long to get approval for your surgeries.  I wish I knew what sped this up.  Congrats on getting approval and a date though.

I called and changed the date of my surgery.  It will now be on the 12th.  I learned that I was gaining an extra paid day off from work on the 9th. Paid time off is much better than off without pay.
