Oh girlfriend, that is me!!! LOL, i haven't had the chance to. The pain of bending over like that was too much for me to handle. It's gonna take me three razors and a lot of shaving gel when i decide to tackle this chore that will be my shaven legs! I've been wearing capri sweats for a couple days now. My dad has made a comment. Too funny, he's like, "Wow, you're legs are hairy! Trying to keep warm for winter?" i'm like...Uh no, it's hard for me to shave. haha

I've lost 16 since surgery which was on the 10th and 20 before surgery.  Coming home from surgery I stepped on the scale and was mortified to see that I had gained the 20lbs that I had lost, IV fluids!  So it's really starting to come off now, I hope it continues for a while.

Bryers makes a really good no sugar added icecream.  I'm not sure what the grams are but it's really creamy and silky.  Not many flavors to choose from and it does has Splenda in it.  I also love love love sf fudgsicles and sf juice pops by eddy's.

I thought this would be a silly post - but we all can lighten up a bit from time to time!

Who else has really hairy legs?  I shaved the night before my surgery but haven't been able to shave since - so I am walking around in shorts, mind you, as unashamed as possible.  I had the open procedure so maybe I'll be the last one standing unshaved!  Sure can't wait to have my smooth legs back!

yummy - chicken with BBQ or Teryaki (sp?) sauce sounds good.  I'll have to go look at the carbs and see if I can use a dab.  On Thanksgiving day I am going to try some low fat gravy pureed with Turkey.

I have to wear a binder too - and at my two week appt yesterday the Doc said I have to wear it for another 4 weeks.  But then I had the surgery open.

You are doing great - I am jealous that you got bumped up already!  I am just starting out on pureed!

Congratulations your doing great.  Isn't it amazing, 20lbs in 3 weeks, wow!  So you had to wear a binder????  I've never heard to that for bariatric surgery, plastic yeah but not bariatric.

I also was allowed SF fudge popcicles or SF ice popcicles.  I have that or a SF pudding every night.  I'm only getting 600-800 calories a day so I think it is fine.  there are so few things we get to eat on the liquid stage it really helps to have these for some variety.  Here is what I eat every day.

Tea w 2 tsp suger and 1/2 cup lowfat milk
protein drink with 42 grams of protien
SF jello
protein drink with 23 grams of protien
cup of soup (usually cream of chicken or mushroom blended)
SF pudding or popcicle
hot chocolate w/ 15 grams of protein

I know I'm a bit late with this, but I was in the dr. office the day before sugery and weiged myself.  The next day at time of surgery  I had lost 5 lbs!  The bowel prep (magnesium citrate) dehydrated me.  It took me several days to recover, even being on fluids in the hospital... and I had diarhhea for 6 days post op.  Once I started eating soup and my protein shakes, all was well again.  I gained 6 lbs while in the hospital, with all the fluids and I had a lot of swelling.
