Nope no green poop for me...sorry. I'm not on iron supplement though. The could be the reason.
Topic: green poop
Yup, that's right, my poop is green. A nice forest green in fact. Some online searching has suggested that lots of greens in your diet can do this. I have not done that. I've also read that Iron supplements can do this if they are not fully absorbed. Well, i did start taking iron. WTF??? Am I not getting the iron?? Should i not take it at bed time? OY VEY.
I'm going to call the dr. now that i see this is a recurring pattern and not just a one time greenie. Would love to hear if others have encountered this.

I know exactly how you feel... I just saw my PCP on Monday and she recommended Senecot-S. It is a mild laxative and a softener. I took one last night before bed and a second one this morning, It worked like a charm! ...and... I didn't have the rumble in my stomach like I would have with the other laxatives.
Give it a try... I feel so much better now.

I had surgery on Nov 17th and by 3 weeks I had lost 25 pounds too. I know I would hit a stall around 3 weeks but like you I only thought it would last a week. Now 2 and a half weeks later I've lost maybe a pound plus my period is here. My doc has said not to worry so I'm just going with that.
As for Fruits and Veg, I'm cleared to eat them. I haven't had any problems with what I've tried. I think the docs all pretty much have differents thoughts on what we should or shouldn't be eating. Just go with what works for you.
Hopfully we will start losing again soon.

I could have written this. I had surgery Nov.22 and my story is exactly the same. 25 pounds and nothing for 10 days. It is very hard to keep my attitude positive about this. Hopefully this stall will pass soon. I hope yours does too.

Hey- this is the first time I have posted so here it goes...
I was able to eat more then what you would think you would be able to right after surgery. I went to a support group and they couldn't believe what I was able to eat and keep down with out any problems and that I was able to eat 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with peaches about 3 weeks out of surgery. I called my doctor the next day as I got really freaked out that I was going to mess this up. They said what I was eating was fine and as long as it was around 1/2 cup that was fine and that I am lucky I wasn't having problems with food. They said anything that you are able to eat in the begining and not have problems with then you will not have issues with that food from now on. I had my surgery on 11/3/08 and I am down like 35 lbs. I had a check up last week and my doctor said protien, fruits and veggies are what they want me to eat. So... I think that it depends on your doctor. I know some days I cannot eat anything really at all (I get full off of 2 bits) then other days I can eat my 1/2 cup of food. I think everyone is different and their bodies are going to react differently. Because something works for me it might not work for you. So, if you are really worried about 6 oz at a time being "to much" call your doctor and see what they have to say. Best of luck to you and keep your head up. Next Christmas you will be weighing a lot less and looking great so this stall will not even phase you.

Hey, there. Im doing great. I dont want to brag but I was one of those cases that I didnt have too much pain and was pretty much back to normal after a week. I didnt return to work right away because I didnt want to rush things so I took and additional two weeks, a total of 3 weeks.
I lost 24 pounds when I went to see my Dr. for my one week check up and so far I really dont know because I dont want to get into the habit of stepping on the scale. I see him again in January so Im trying to wait until then to see the total loss since surgery at 8 week out.
I can tell you though my cloths are falling off and I LOVE IT!

Well hello there! I check the board everyday but not too much going on. I had surgery on November 20th and have lost 29 pounds since surgery and 46 since starting the liquid diet pre-op! Pretty happy with my progress! How about you?? I'm feeling pretty good...although my body has finally figured out that this is not temporary and is sucking out every bit of energy it can find....UGH!! Other than that...I'm doing well!!
