Pre workout - 3 oz. light strawberry banana yogurt
B - 1/4 of a small Denver Omelette (from Whole Foods hot food bar - it has eggs, green and red bell peppers, mushrooms and cheddar cheese) and 1 small piece of a red potato (probably about 1/2 cup of food total if that)
L - 2 oz Bali Thai Salmon (again from whole foods) and 2 small slices of zucchini
S - 6 Newmans Own pretzels (they have 5 grams of protein per serving, but I can only eat like a 1/4 of a serving) and 1 cup of skim milk (10 g of protein ... woo hoo!!)
D - 1/3 of a shredded beef taco from the taqueria and three bites of refried beans with cheese
I had 4 bottles of water and for the first time since surgery I actually got all of my protein in YAY ME!!!!! My calories were high yesterday - I think 640, which is the most I've gotten since surgery!
Okay, we're starting off slow..but if it can help us...I'll keep it going!! What did you eat yesterday??
B - 2 Tbsp peanut butter w/3 crackers
L - 1/4 to 1/2 cup of clam chowder and 3 small broccolli florets
S - 2 crackers w/peanut butter
D - couldn't bring myself to eat what I had planned...so all I had was a few crackers with cream cheese
I got in all my multivitamins...but no calcium...and I got in about 3 bottles of water
That's it for me!!
B: 8 oz Chocolate Slim Fast
S: 4 oz Dannon Yogurt
8 oz Totally Light to 2 Lemonade
L: When I went to lunch I was going to eat 2 oz of tenderized meat w/ gravy and some mashed
pot but it was turning my stomach so I had another 8 oz Chocolate Slim Fast
S: couple bits of cottage cheest
8 oz Totally Light 2 Go Lemonade
10 oz Sugar Free Chocolate Milk
D: 1/2 cup taco meat mixed with cheeses
S: couple bits of mixed fruit
10 oz Sugar Free Chocolate Milk
WOW IM NOT DRINKING ENOUGH!!!
Hi all:
I''m still preop (Jan 6 surgery). I'm less nervous about the surgery than the recovery. I have a new position at work, new boss, new staff, etc. and I am concerned about being out for too long, but would like to know what people experience.
How did you feel day 1, day 2, day 3, day 4?
When did you go back to work?
How long would you estimate until I can take a plane trip for work?
When did you feel pretty much normal again?

B: 8oz Mootopia Milk - 12grams protien
S: Atkins Protien Bar - 16 grams protien
L: Refried Beans Small (really small amt ) - ?? Protien since I didn't measure. Didn't really want that much after my protien bar.
S: Glass of Water with Lemon -wasn't really hungry so tried to get extra water in.
D: 4 Crackers, 1 Slice Skim Cheese
Total water intake today was about 40 ounces. I know I can do better! I have a glass at the computer now and hopefully I can drink another before bed, if I don't fall asleep trying to drink it.. ha ha.
