Topic: RE: average loss
Sounds like you fall within the average spectrum. I had my RNY on 11/06/08 and I'm down a total of 42 lb. During the first month I lost about 4-5 lb per week, but now I've stalled a bit. I'll stay at the same weight for about a week, drop 2 lb, then stay at the same weight again for a while. A little frustrating, but seems like we're all losing about the same amount of weight in the same period of time so it makes me feel better.

You all are doing AWESOME!!!
I had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy on 11/24/08. It has been 6 weeks today & I'm down 25 lbs. I've lost 45 lbs since I started the process. Wish I could say I'd dropped as much as the rest of you....but I know I haven't been exercising like I should. Gave myself a "pass" on that part until after the Holidays. Now, there are no more excuses!
Using you all as inspiration - I shall now head off to the treadmill.

Thanks everyone. I need to head to the store one night this week and pick something up. I'd rather do a chewable or liquid myself, unless they make them small enough to swallow!

I had surgery on 11/11 and since that date I've lost 32 pounds - but a total of 39 including the pre-op.
