Topic: Anyone else using the Daily Plate to track their food?
I use the Daily Plate everyday.  I am looking for other folks who had surgery around my date who also use the Daily Plate.  We can add eachother as 'friends' over there and get ideas from looking at eachother's food diaries.

In the beginning (a couple of weeks out) I had problem with sugar. Starbucks screwed up and gave me a regular instead of sugar free, so that's how I found out. But I do not have a problem with sugar anymore. I had a little tiny piece of cake for my b-day (Jan 1) and I was fine. I have not had a problem with anything else I've tried. I was even cleared for red meat already and did great with it. Now my taste buds are another story. LOL A lot of the stuff I loved I don't even want anymore. One bite and I'm finding something else to eat. I have not had nausea, vomiting, or any kind of complications yet. Good luck with trying new foods. Just ease in slowly and don't try more than 1 new food at a time. :)

Update to my previous post:  for some reason, I have trouble with spaghetti, even when I cut it into tiny pieces and chew it well.  I've had other pasta without problem, but I tried spaghetti on two different occasions and both times wound up with pain and eventual vomiting after only a few bites.

I found them yesterday at Walmart in the packaged meat section.  I went to a super Walmart about 30 minutes from me. I picked up two different kinds, tried one today for lunch but couldn't eat both wraps (too much for me).  The other one will be for lunch tomorrow.

I swear this woman is my hero ... she's also an OH staffer, so she often posts new recipes to the main board or the RNY board.  Everything I've tried of hers has been a huge hit in our house and my husband wonders why I'm cooking these decadent dinners when I just had WLS ... I told him all the stuff I'm cooking is WLS friendly and he's just stunned.  You should check it out!!!

Friday's plate was yummy!  First time I've enjoyed food in a long time :)

Pre workout - string cheese
B - 3 oz Trader Joe's greek style apricot mango yogurt and 1 cube of honey dew
S - 1 cup skim milk
L - 2 oz citrus salmon and 4 green beans
D - 2 oz 96% lean ground hamburger patty with onions inside and 4 green beans
S - 1/2 cup wow cow bananna nut frozen yogurt

I have carnitas (egg face recipe) in the crock pot and can't wait to see how that comes out!
