Thank everyone who answered my question. I always wanted a lot of sister and brothers. We are family from a another mother. My date is Nov, 12th. We are blessed and specially choosen for this blessing.

I don't have butterflies, mine are Canadian geese flying around in there!!!

thank  You Teri------ I am mostly calm too---after wanting this for years---and working on it since last Feb. I certainly do know it's the right thing and right time for me!  I have been feeling better and better  as I have lost the pre--surgery pounds------ I know the best is yet to come! My only apprehension is that I have to travel to Clovis ( insurance purposes) and so will miss my Husband ( he cannot go---kind of disabled--and so it would make me worry more about him) (I have a great amazing friend that will travel with me--- so I do have support)  MY surgeon is highly recommended by my first choice surgeon---and so no worries there.....I just can't wait for the part when they wake me up in recovery!!
     I am on the mad house cleaning mode too!!!  I did go out and have a really nice "last meal"  NOt a big blow-out--just an elegant steak dinner at a really nice place here.....so that made it all very special too.
Well..... best wishes to you on your surgery---I won't be around a computer for a few days after surgery..... DeAnna is my angel ( on the California board) so she'll post that I am fine....

I just found this part of the board!  My surgery is NEXT WEDNESDAY and  I have read, taken notes dieted (85#'s lost presurgery!!!)  So it's all good-----now those butterflys are buzzing in my stomach!!! Oh Boy!!!  Well..... I know everything will be okay..... just calm thos butterflies down! It's going to be an interesting week around my house!! Any last minute advise you all have??? I  will be starting in on 5 glucerna shakes a day this coming Saturday, 11/1.  I will be having my WLS surgery on 11/11.  I have started buying a few other items... measuring sppons, small bowls, broth, water, glucerna shakes (I need 50 shakes total - 5 shakes a day for 10 days), gas-x chewables, and my "cleansing potion" for the day before my WLS...

I have been trying to really slow down my eating to get ready for the new eating habits.  I think I am going to "palm" some of the small silverware that they serve in the First Class section of Northwest Airlines (I have four flights to make before my surgery, so I figure I can get four sets)...
