My emotions are all over t5he place wiating till the 6th for my Lap RNY. I've had surgery lots of times before so I'm not worried about pain because I have a very high tolerance for it but I'm more worried about all the other things that can happen with this surgery.

Had what I would call an anxiety attack last week. Totally out of the blue. Couldnt settle down, was pacing all over the house. It was over in about an hour and thankfully it hasn't happened again but all I can say is "I can't wait for Thursday."

I have been forgetting things that I normally would never forget (appts, shopping list...) little things that lets me know I'm preoccupied with having this surgery.

I will find out my surgery time tomorrow. I have to call the center between 2 - 4. I hope mine is early. I would like the first one in the morning.
See if I get what I want.

My surgery is Monday. I started the liquid pre op. I found a really good protein pudding
Its a powder and you mix it with water, Believe it or not its very good. Unjury chicken broth is pretty good too.

I just wi**** were Monday. I find out tomorrow what time my surgery is. I am hoping for first one in the morning. Get it over with.

I made sure I ate my favorite foods this past week. Steamed clams, boy I will miss them. Instead of 2 dozen I will be lucky to eat 2. Need to stop thinking about food. Thats why I am doing this. Think I'll go have a V8.

you could also try www.safesense.com They sell no latex condoms. If your doctor really feels an additional barrier method should be used, they could be an option. I don't think I have ever seen them in the stores, only online.

Hey Terri - Me too, 11/26. We'll have to keep tabs on each other :-)

I need to lose 10LBS before surgery and I've only lost 2. Do you have any requirements, liquid diet or otherwise before surgery?
