I'm having my surgery November 4th. Good luck to both of us !!! I'm with you...I can hardly wait.

Six sleeps and my day is here. I am totally calm about it. The problem is I am starving right now. I am on day eight of my preop liquid diet. Day five was the worst. I wanted to eat so bad. My stomach yelled at me for hours. I weighed myself and was up four pounds from the day before. I had not cheated. I was about in tears. I had to keep telling myself its for my liver. My liver is shrinking. I made it thru that crisis but here comes another one. Today I am starving again. My stomach is yelling at me to feed it. I am staying strong but it is actually keeping me awake. My liver had better be shrinking. This is painful. My DH is sick with a cold and if I get it and they postpone my surgery I will not be strong enough to go thru this again so I will be in trouble. I do not expect a long recovery and think I will be fine as soon as I get the surgery, Its the waiting and preop diet that is killing me. I wish I could sleep till then.
