Topic: I got my time.
The clinic just called me and I have to be there by 11am on Monday morning. I'm soooo nervous and excited.

I was given a piece of advice that I thought was so important I wanted to share it with you.
As you know, those of us who are having a by-pass will no longer have the same anatomy on the inside since the stomach will actually be bypassed.
I was told a story about a woman who was injured in a car accident and the emergency responders used an N G tube on her. The tube ruptured her pouch and she died as a result.
I was told to get a medic alert bracelet saying the following.
Gastric Bypass
No Blind NG Tube.
This will allow EMS to proceed in a different manner to safely achieve the same result.
It's also a good idea to list sugar and ansaids as an allergy, but not necessary.

HI Renee!! I feel like crap I had my surg on 11/3rd as scheduled .. i'm home but feel aweful.. Anyone know if this is normal. Of course I'm not hungry at all not even a little bit. this is day one for me from the hospital My instructionjs are 5-6 days before I can attempt my state 2. I feel ill though and its hard for me to sleep w/o pain is this normal? I know everyone is different.

I'm finishing day 3 of a self imposed liquid diet. Everyone has to do it, so I decided it couldn't be a bad idea to do one week.
I'M STARVING!
Usually went I get hungry I have a shake or some soup and I'm ok for a few hours.
I haven't had any headachs, but maybe that's because I don't let myself get to hungry, or maybe I'm just lucky.

Started my liquid diet on October 31st and had headaches for two days then things got a lot better. But the temper issue is still there but not as bad.
