My md did not put me on any diet except for npo after midnight the night before. I am doing a liquid diet myself to get liver as small as possible...

Usually I post a good luck everyday to those who are going in next. I don't know if I'll get a chance to post tomorrow, I'll be away for the weekend, and I'm having my surgery on Monday.

I'm new and haven't had my surg yet, so can't help you out on the protein drink thing. Sorry. But thanks for the tip on the weiners, I guess that would be a pretty good choice on an outing. Tiny bites though.
