Topic: X-Post: Surgery Date Moved Up!
OK, so I was scheduled for surgery on December 8 - close, but not panic close. Well, my surgeon's office called me today, and they have changed the date to November 22. HOLY COW! That is LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY! I'm feeling a little nervous (& a bit disappointed that I won't be able to indulge at Thanksgiving - I will still be on clear liquids - turkey broth, anyone?).
Obviously, I will keep everyone updated. Thank you so much for all your support!

I WILL BE HAVINY RNY SURGERY ON 11-17-08 AND RIGHT NOW I AM JUS COUNTING THE DAYS BUT NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE PAIN I AM HAVING MY SURGERY OPEN DOC IS SORTA OLD SCHOOL (( NOT A PROBLEM)) JUST HOPING A CAN BE BACK TO MYSELF SOONER THAN LATER HAVE GALLBLADDER TAKEN OUT ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO AND WAS DONE LAP AND I REMEMBER BEING OUT AND ABOUT THE SAME DAY I CAME HOME JUST SLOW IF IM LUCKY I'LL SAIL RIGHT THROUGHT THIS BEING OPTIMISTIC

Had my surgery 5 days ago and have slept in a bed every night - no recliner for me!!
Have to use a couple of extra pillows tho.

I AM SO EXITED, I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS GOING TO BE A BIG PROBLEM WITTH INSURANCE APPROVAL, BUT I FINALLY GOT A LETTER FROM TUFTS THAT MY SURGERY WAS APPROVED, I'M JUST GLAD THAT I DEFINETLY KNOW !!!!!!

Hi friends. I have to admit today I feel nervous. I have for the most part been just EXCITED. Tomorrow I have pre op and nutrition class. My schdule at work is showing me off next week and Darlene had here surgery today. It is all so real. I have never had surgeries and I am feeling funky. Glad I have you two sharing my date though. You always make me smile.

Topic: Has anyone experienced Vomiting Blood Lap band?
I am 6 days post op and was feeling great yesterday so much so that I started to drive myself around and make a couple of errands, at the end of the day I started feeling sick and ended up vomiting blood I PANICk I though I had to go back to the hospital I did call my DR. he did say though it was unusual it does happend.
Has anyone experienced this?
