I got the board shorts at Target. The only ones that I considered "long enough" where in the Plus size but the 16's worked after i put a drawstring in the waist.

Hi Everyone. I am stalled a bit at 97 lbs down for a few weeks now. Want that 100 lbs gone so bad. I have had a couple of nice wow moments though....I walked 2 5k walks in May, and did great! I am going to run a 5k on Thanksgiving with my sister, we signed a contract so no backing out....lol.
One of the best WOW moments was when someone asked a coworker about me and told them they walked right past me and said she looks familiar, but didn't realize it was me until later on. They didn't recognize me at all!!!
It took me awhile to get used to some of the compliments, now I just say Thank you! and eat it up.
Glad everyone is doing so well...hooray for us!!!

Hey, there. Your a little further out than me, but not too much. I weighed alot more than you to start so that will make a difference. I have lost a total of 100 pounds and have been at a stall for a while now. went from a TIGHT 30-32 to a 16-18...

Hey everyone. glad to hear all the updates. I went and saw my surgeon May 23rd and by his scale I have lost 82 pounds. I'm so happy and I feel great. He says I'm right where I should be. I only have about 25 more pounds until I hit goal. The loss has really slowed down, but I'm still doing what I should be, except exercising. I had to stop exercising because I pulled a muscle in my thigh. :( But other than that I'm okay. I'm still waiting for my mind to catch up with my body. LOL I still see myself as big. I've gone from a size 26/28 to a 10, but my mind makes me shy away from looking in mirrors. Every now and again I'll catch a glimpse of myself at a store and I think it's someone else. LOL I can't believe how much my taste buds have changed. I tried to have some chocolate the other day (I had it planned into a meal) and I had to spit it out. I don't like the taste anymore. Same thing with all sweets and even soda. I couldn't live without that stuff pre-op. I hate seafood ... but for some reason lately I've been craving crab legs. I guess I will have to atleast try them now to see if I like them. The extra skin is definitely something that brings me down though. I see all these cute shirts that I could finally fit into, but can't wear because they show too much of my arms. My legs luckily aren't too bad, but belly and arms are a big problem right now. But it's all a part of the process. I love all the energy I have now. and I'm so much healthier.
Keep up the good work everyone.

I lost 35 lbs before surgery... so i had surgery at 258... maybe that's the difference in it. i count this for when i started this process (my 3 month waiting period for insurance)...
