Hey Sue,
Just hang in there.  Keep doing what you are supposed to do.   What I remember about a stall is that sooner or later it has to break.  Just think of how you will feel after those measly two pounds go away!    I'm here rooting for you to hit that 100!

Anyone else stuck in a big old stall?  would love to lose 2 lbs just to say I lost 100.  I've been waiting a few weeks... hopefully i won't have to wait more than a few more!

I definitely hope you are all doing great!

You have really done a fabulous job! Congrat's. Dod you attend a local support group or is it specific to your surgeon? Just haven't found one local in East King County or South King County.

Everyone here seems to be doing much better than I am.  I've basically been in a stall since the end of January, losing maybe 1-2 lb per MONTH.  Not to mention being hungry all the time.  This is not how I thought WLS was going to be, despite all my research.

I know it's been a while; I can hardly believe it's been over a month since I hurt my hip/went on vacation/got sick/etc.

I had my "6 month post-op" today...it was actually more like 7 months, but hey, who's counting?  I've lost 156 pounds since 10/01/2008 (116 pounds since surgery on 11/19/2008).  That's a otal loss of over 25 BMI points, a change in clothing size from 5X ( at plus size shops) to XL (at regular retailers), and too many other important figures to list!  To say that I am extremely pleased with my weight loss would be an understatement!

I'm still recuperating from my vacation and trying to get back into the swing of things!  I need to get on the ball and get re-involved with OH, support groups, etc.  More to come; that's a promise and a threat!

~Namaste~

Amy
