ISOPURE, it is found at GNC. It tastes good with low fat or 1% milk. There are few different flavors also. thanks, p

yep, Darlene pretty much covered it. I was in very little pain, and when I did feel any I took a pain pill and was happy again.

yay! isn't it a relief when the drain is out? Good luck with the pureed foods. There is a post in this forum about a blog site that one of the members has. She has awesome recipes and ideas for pureed foods. As far as the protein I just use the chocolate whey protein from walmart and mix it with milk in the blender, can't drink it when it's just stirred, has to blender for me. welcome to the losers bench.   :)

Hi Donna,

I got my surgery on the 14th.  I didn't get a tube in me to drain.  What would that be for?  I was told I can start purreed food on my 3rd week.  I am starting again the Body Fortress protein drink.  I was told it was good to have by my doctor.  I take sips of it.  It does taste different before I had the surgery.  You can get the protein drink at Walmart.  They told us that it was cheap and try to use it, if we didn't like it then we didn't waste a lot of money on it.  Hope this helped.

Well, the recovery time is different for everyone. I'm 9 days out and I feel great.  Even though I have no pain and I feel like I'm good to go, I still can't lift more then 5lbs for 6 weeks.

I'm on a liquid diet consisting of protein shakes (you can get really creative with them), soup, yogurt, jello, Popsicles and juices....... all sugar free.

As far as pain, I never had surgery before so I really didn't know how bad it would be either.  When I woke up in my room I was in a great deal of pain but can honestly say I don't remember it because I was so out of it. It didn't last long since I slept most of it away.
Everyday was better, pain meds work great, and I couldn't even tell you were the incisions were..... I couldn't feel them.
If the results are what I expect them to be, I'd do it again in a heart beat.

About the sagging skin, I have a long way to go to learn about that and as far as I know, everyone is different in that respect too.

Hope my experience helps.
