Topic: Suzie is doing great!
I took a long lunch today and visited Suzie in the hospital. She has little to no pain and is doing well. She hasn't had a meal yet. She misses her dogs. She gets to see them tomorrow when she goes home.

Topic: Update on Heather
Hi everyone.

I just got off the phone with Heather and she feels great.   I have a feeling the morphine has a little something to do with that LOL.
She's actually feeling better today then the day before surgery since she was fighting off a bug.
She's been up walking and soon she'll lose her cath and iv bag.

She's looking forward to going home tomorrow.

Topic: RE: Return to Work
I had Gastric Bypass on the 29th of October and I also work in a office.  I went back after 2 weeks and that is because my blood pressure went very low.  I worked three days only half days, but now I stay all day.  It depends how much you can stand sitting all day.  It was hard at first, but you do get tired quickly.  Today is the first day that I feel pretty good.  The gas pain is finally leaving, it is has been hard for me to get in all the liquids and proteins you are suppose to every day. Good Luck and God Bless.  It is well worth it.  I have lost 30 pounds already, so I am very pleased.

Topic: A loud rumbling tummy?
Hi,   I have some more questions about stomach rumblings.  My stomach rumbles so much that it actually woke me up from a nap.  What is this?  I have been sipping water and I stood up afterwards and I actually felt and heard the water go into my stomach.  It was the strangest thing ever!..  It is hard to explain, but it was like the sound when you chug water.  I am drinking out of a sippy cup.  Do you think I am getting too much air into my system from drinking out of a sippy cup?  Thanks..Tami

Hope everything went well for you.  I wish I were closer.  Stil in the approval process but keeping positive.   The two weeksof liquid will be hard but it will be worth it.

Congratulations!  I am still in the approval process but it helps to hear the positive outcomes.  The closer I get the more nervous I get.  Biggest medical decision I have ever made in my life.
