Awwww you are the greatest!  Telling me what you have gone through really helps me to prepare!  I am so ready for the surgery to be over and to move on with my life--new life that is!  I am ready to be able to run with my kiddos and not be out of breath-- I am ready to ride rollar coaster rides with them with no fear of fitting in the seat!  I am ready!  4 days and counting~

While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.

I had my RNY monday afternoon and came home thursday afternoon. What a world wind few days. It seemed like I was waiting forever for the surgery date then it all crept up on me so fast and was over in no time. Getting used to things is taking some time. I ordered sampler packs from bariatric eating, enjoy health, and smart forme and have been trying each one. So far the hot chocolate from smart forme has gone down the best! I had some troubles with the foamies in the hospital and nausea but that is gone today. I'm off on the road to back to health! I took before pics and think I will continue to take them each surgiversary date. I'd like to make a scrapbook of my journey so I can look back and see how far I have come! Congrats to all the other november RNYers..hope you're all doing well.

I'm on bc pills and normally I would get my period two days into the placebo pills (so I should've gotten it today), but I got it on Wednesday as soon as I missed my pill. So I'm hoping this will just mean I'll have a reg 28 day cycle instead of 30 days. It's hasn't been any different, except not as heavy. I just hope it doesn't last until I start my pills again next wed. we'll see. I've heard horror stories about periods being heavier and lasting longer, so I guess we'll see. Good luck to you.

Thanks for all that info. i went to my parents tonight for my dad's 86th B-day and they had a few pizza's, now normally that would drive me crazy but not a bother, i bought with me a light yoguart and a healthy request tomato soup, of course it took me all night long to get them down but it worked and I felt satisfied....

My period starts ... just great!!!  Have any of you had a period since your surgery?  Is it the same as before or are there any differences I should be watching out for??
