Topic: Sweet Home...
Hi all my November friends. I feel like I have been gone forever. Most of you know that I got sick before surgery and just could not get the strength up to get on the computer. I got home yesterday and feel great. I have had a couple moments where I felt poor me I cant eat that. Then I wonger if I am eating enough. Silly I know. Going to cut my meds down as they have made me very foggy. Also was a good girl todaay and went on two walks. Get us some updates folks. I am going to shower and try to liven up a bit. Take care.

Topic: First Post op appointment and my frst real food!
I was moved to a stage III diet and have lost 10 pounds since surgery on November 12. My doctor said I can eat stage III foods and soft meats that I can chew to a paste - no puree necessary. I was so excited I celebrated with baked cod and pureed zucchini - I chewed!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYY!!!! I held it down, no nausea and had scrambled eggs for breakfast! Onwards and upwards!

Topic: breast implants
I can handle my flabby arms and thighs, but I have to get my boobs done. Does anybody have any recommendations in the Inland Empire / or Palm Springs Area in California ??
Topic: 2 week post op
I had my two week post op appointment on Thursday and I'm down 12 lbs. So if you count the 6 pounds I gained post op, thats 18 lb lost in the 2 weeks. I am so happy with that!! My bloodwork showed a low protein though, which would definitely be a reason for healing more slowly, and having a lot of swelling/fluid in my abdomen. I am feeling so much better though now. I do get really tired still, but I'm trying to build my stamina back up. I can eat soft foods now and so far have had cottage cheese and scrambled eggs... yummy!! I do find I can eat a lot less now than when I was eating the blended food. I went and got my hair cut the other day too... I said leave it long, with layers.... and all of a sudden I see 8 inch strands of hair falling in front of me...lol. I just said screw it... its only hair, let her do what she wants...this is the beginning of a new me, just go with it! And it't the best haircut I've ever had! So I went to Ross and bought a new outfit too... size 16 pants... woohooo... no more 20something sizes!!!!! So I am feeling pretty good right now!! Tomorrow I go to my nephews Marine graduation party... with lots of yummy food... but i'll be drinking my protein shake... and not regretting it one bit!! I have aquaintances that haven't seen me since I started this journey almost 60 lbs ago! It's going to be a great day!!

Topic: has any one in dc had RNY surgery with medicaid insurance
I'm going to a educational class with DR. Paul Lin on the 18th of DEC. I'm getting worried that medicaid will not pay for my surgery. so anyone who has seen DR.LIN before or any one in the DC area that has medicaid and had the surgery done and would not mind tell me their story it would be greatly appreciated and will ease some of my doubts and fears.
