Hey Sue,
I think I'm in the same boat as you!  I force myself to get out once a day to walk and do an errand and I am done by the end of it.  I think I have about an hour and a half a day and then I need to get back to relaxing.  Slowly but surely I find my stamina increasing, so I hope I'll be better than normal in no time!

At my first post op visit, which was 9 days after surgery, I was down 10 pounds from my surgery date.  Not a bad start at all!!!  Congrats on your weight loss, I'm glad everything is going well!

Thanks for all the well wishes, I know it will get better, and it has ;but there are times in the first few days i had regretted it. But I am already down 12 pounds and I feel better today then yesterday. Hopefully in a few days I wont feel bad at all.

Hi Barbara.... glad you did well with your surgery and are home.  It feels so good to be home, doesn't it?  The pain will subside... just take your meds as often as you can... thats what its there for!  And don't do too much... I made that mistake and paid for it!!  Hope you are on your way to a speedy recovery.... welcome to the loser's bench!!!!!
Take Care,
Debbi

Thats's awesome!  I actually had a 6 lb. gain after surgery with fluid retention and swelling. Now that that is all gone and I'm 3 weeks out I'm averaging 6 lbs. a week!  I do think it is all relative to your starting BMI too... it seems the higher it is, the faster it comes off... in the beginning anyway.  Keep up the good work!  You're on your way to a healthier new life!!!
