I feel ya!  I haven't lost a pound in about 2 months now...I got down to 189 for a day and went right back up above 190.  I wanted to reach 175 by my anniversary date but I don't think that will be happening now.

Isn't it frustrating?  If I was even close to goal, it would be understandable but geesh!  LOL!  I guess we just have to hang in there!

I lost 50 lb my first 3 months, 15 lb in the next 3 months, and ONE POUND since May.  So from my standpoint, your 5 lb a month is fantastic!

Thanks for opening my eyes.  I need to start realizing that 1 pound a week is good and the falling off of weight has stopped.  :-)

My weight was stalling out....and I was pretty close to goal  - I stepped up my exercise.  I started preparing for a 5K run.  a few pounds fell off and the inches went flying!  I even gained  3 lbs but dropped a pant size.  Dropped the 3 pounds again, but can feel my body shape shifting.  Had to buy new bras!

it's not over!!!  it's just harder!!

I also had to UP my calories.

Yes, I think working out has changed a lot with my body.  I have been going to the gym for 5 weeks now.  I just wish the scales would move!   :-)

Renee...
I wish I had some advise to give you, but I'm in the same boat... I've been struggling up and down with the same 10 lbs... I hit my all time low so far of 163, but am currently at 169... up and down since July...

I've decided to do a three day of liquid / protein shake to start a recommitment... May not be what the dr's / OHer's would suggest, but I need something to kick myself in the bum and get rededicated.  I also have slacked off on my vits... so I'm committing to that again also.

Friday thru Sunday, I will up my liquids, take my vits, and drink my protein... I'll allow myself soups / tea and SF puddings.... Then on Monday I will start journaling again, and being more active on OH and not go back to my carbs... I am not a dumper so I've noticed the "treats" i'd allow myself have increased from weekly to daily.... so it's time to get serious before the scale goes totally off track and I wind up with my old eating habits that got me to 293 to begin with... I WILL NOT go back there...

Hopefully your stall will break soon.  I had wanted to hit 158 but my one year anniversary... which is nov 26th... I think I could still do it... ( that would put me at * almost * normal bmi, but 100 down from surgery date... for a total loss of 135) My ultimate goal will be 148...

That sounds like an excellent idea.  I know I saved a link about the 5 day pouch test, I will have to try that in the upcoming week!
