it's the 6th month!!! Share some WOWs
We will all be hitting the 6 month mark in May. I'm so very excited for my big day next Tuesday. I see my surgeon and he will hopefully tell me all good things!!My latest WOW moment was yesterday, putting on my high school prom dress and it fitting!! I wore that dress 17 years ago. I'm sure it was the last time it fit. What's really striking is that my parents were so concerned about how overweight I was back then. Now my mother said to me yesterday when i walked into her house "I could look at you all day!". Perspectives really do change over time!

i am down to 146-148 (been hovering) from hw of 242. i am wearing a size 10/12 depending. my lower gut is going slow at shrinking. i feel great. i work out 3X a week at the gym.
i am really glad i did this. there are days when i wish i could just go through mcdonalds and eat whatever but i am glad i cant.

Happy 6th Months! My DH is in the army and stationed over in Germany. He hasn't seen me in person since the surgery. We were chatting the other day through web cam and I had to get up for something and move away from the computer. I came back and sat down and he says "stand up for a minute". So I did...did a little flaunting, lol. He says "Your hot". He has never said that to me. He has said your beautiful, pretty, etc. BUT never HOT! lol Hot has never been a word in my repertoire. He will be here at the end of the month for block leave, I can't wait to see him. I'm so excited.
I'm down 81lbs and feel great. I do not have any old article of clothing to try on, but I do know that I am smaller than when I was in high school now...I think sizes are different though.

Sizes are different... I know when I was a senior in high school I had to buy all my clothes in Lane Bryant, and now I can't fit into anything there (ok, I haven't tried, but I'm only buying "misses" clothes now, which I couldn't do back then).
I'm so glad my mom kept all the bridesmaid and prom dresses - they were a hoot to try on.
Your husband is in for one hell of a surprise. I am told that pictures don't do justice to seeing in person all the loss - nevermind TOUCHING!

Well, Im still working on getting the 100 pounds lost by May 18th...I hope I make it, if not...Im still very happy with what I have done so far.
I wear a 16-20. Depends on where I buy it from. But I pretty much shop in the "normal" sizes. I havent bought a plus size clothing item in a while. still stuck in the 250's I just need to lose 20 more pounds and Im there....
