Getting close to being under 200 is definitely something to look forward to, I know I can't waite!!! I love new clothes, do you find yourself shopping more these days then before? I have been buying nothing but dresses b/c I find I can get more use out of them then a pair of shorts, jeans,etc... they seem to last longer & look better the more weight I loose...lol....
Where are you going on v-kay? I know what you mean about your hair , I think that is the one set back w/ this surgery that bothers me the most!!!!! How is the Bariatric Calcium different then the stuff at the drug store?

I was quite the shopper before, but now it's easier than ever since I fit into clothes in EVERY store (except Lane Bryant and the Avenue).  Dresses are a favorite of mine, so yes, I've bought a lot of those for the summer (with cute little cardigans to keep me warm)

I am going to Orlando for vacation - i have friends that live there and I used to live in the Tampa Bay area, so it will be like "old home week" for me.  I'll have to pick up some shorts/capris for the trip - hopefully i'll be down another size by then!

Bariatric Advantage products are formulated for better absorption by our pouches, and have calcium CITRATE chewables which most stores don't seem to carry.  Those Viactiv chewies are not the right kind of calcium for us, and I thought it would be nice to treat myself to a "mint" or chocolate chewie every day that did something good for me rather than just swallowing another pill.

Thanks for the product info, I just have one more question. I have to take 2 calcium pills 3 times a day, how many do you take & do you take all your calcuim w/ your chewables b/c that would be 6 a day?

i was only take 3 calcium pills a day.  It turns out that I was shorting myself by HALF!  I didn't realize that a serving was 2 pills!  so, I should have been taking 6 pills.  Thank God I asked over on the RNY board.  I will continue to take the 3 pills, and then add in 3 of the Bariatric Advantage chewables.  That will bring me to where I ought to be.  Not to mention the 18-20 oz of milk i drink every morning!

I'm wearing a lot of my mother's clothes and taking in the waistbands of my skirts at the moment.  I can almost fit into my old summer shorts so I should be ok for the summer.  I HATE shopping, especially for clothes.

Katherine what's up girl.  I really appreicate that your keeping tabs on all of us Nov 08 peeps.

Well, I was at a stall for about 4 weeks from Feb to March but it seems that everytime I go for my regular Dr. visit with my surgeon, my weightloss kicks in.  So I am down another 11 pounds since March 13th.

I have been hitting the gym hard, VERY hard.  I do spinning, weight training and regular cardio workouts.  I get in most of my protein daily, I drink PLENTY of water and take my Vit's daily.  Im down 92 pounds and 76 since surgery.  Im working hard to hit my goal of 100 pounds by my 6 month mark  on May 18th.  Its looking like I might make it (hopefully).

I have to say that I feel so feminine and sexy since I have lost weight.  I have so much energy and so much confidence.  Oh, one of my goals is/was to shop in the regular woman's section of stores and I have met that goal.  I wear an 18/20 pant and XL or XXL top.  I have been wearing lots of skinny jeans and it feels awsome.

So with that being said, Im just working hard to keep my weightloss moving and staying motivated... Take care!

Hey Ms. Pretty
It's my pleasure to see what everyone is up to. To be honest I just want to make sure I am pretty much on everyone elses level at our stage in the game, & I'm guessing everyone else is wondering the same as me. I guess I'm just nosy...lol...

I too stalled in Feb. was that not an aggravation or what!?!.......BIG props to you for working out , how do you like your spin class? Looks fun! I am a chicken when it comes to working out in public, so I made a gym in my spare room, maby one day when I feel I look normal I would love to take a spin class or a belly dancing class, or a kick boxing class, or a pole dancing class ( DH would love that one...lol )..................I have NO doubt that you will hit your goal before your 6 months!!!!!

When you said you have been feeling better about your self it's like you were reading my mind...lol...doesn't feel good to have confidence again!?!

Trust me, I hate working out in public but if I dont leave the house to do it, I never would.  Spinning is a SERIOUS workout but it takes time to build up your endurance just like any other exercise.  Ill be honest, I HATE working out but the feeling that I get after I have done what Im supposed to do is what makes me continue to do it.  That feeling of accomplishment and victory.

My confidence is new found confidence.  I have never really had the confidence I have now.  I still have my insecure moments and feel like Im too fat moments but I am working to overcome those issues.  I just seem to enjoy my life like I never have before.

I like the fact that you nosey.  Now I can see how Im doing compared to others that had their surgeries at or around the same time as me too...thanks for taking the lead.
