3 Month Weight Loss
Feeling pretty good, although my friends and co-workers say I look and act much better than I think I feel. I hit my first stall at 2 months and it lasted 2½ weeks, then I started dropping again, albeit more slowly than I did at first. Upped my protein and exercise a little, but not enough to make much difference. I think my body was just trying to adjust to its new self.
I will be 11 weeks out on Monday, wow that flew by! I am down 66 pounds, two jeans sizes, two shirt sizes, & I can fit into a booth at a resturant...lol...I am able to workout 5-6 days a weeks for an hour to hour half. I did hit a stall at weeks 5-7 it was a pound here & there, but I stayed positive b/c I was still loosing as to before surgery there was NO movement on the scale for years...lol...I feel back to normal again just with way more energy, motivation, & determination! I do still have problems getting all my protein in but that is b/c I cant find a protein powder that does not taste like sh*t :) & believe me I have spent alot of $$$$$$ trying...lol...Great question I look forward to seeing how everyone else is doing out there!!!!

I have not experienced any stalls. I had my surgery on 11/24/08. So far I've lost 60 pounds and went from a size 26 jeans now to an 18.
It's been really weird, I've bought smaller size jeans the past two months but not tops. DH convinced me to go to Old Navy and look for some smaller tops. I wasnt too sure about it, but we went and WOW!!!! I fit very comfortably in a XXL from Old Navy and Gap. Lovin the RNY...would do it all over again!
Just one problem, cant seem to get my 64oz of fluid in every day. I know I must get that liquid in or I'll dehydrate. I'll keep trying though!!

Still losing a few lbs/week. I'm waiting to weigh in on Tuesday with my surgeon, but it should be 50 lbs since my date of surgery.
My energy is up...but after my 4 day work week i'm pooped and need extra sleep on the weekend.
I had a bit of a stall at 3 weeks...i just stopped weighing and kept drinking and eventually the pounds fell off.
I started in size 24 pants and today my size 16 jeans are starting to get loose. My grandmother told me to not lose anymore, i look fine. I'm really glad my feet haven't shrunk...i love my shoes.

You guys tick me off...just kidding! congrats all around...I have lost about 30 pounds but compared to you that is meager... So I am not comparing numbers anymore for a while...
I do feel quite weak and rather rickety, for lack of a better word. I need more rest than I would like to need ...But it might just be a winter thing too.
My pouch is getting more stabilized and less picky fussy, although i had my first salad yesterday and have been well "cleaned up" all day today.
I have discovered what hungry and full feel like and am trying to honor the feelings. I wait for hunger to eat and for full to stop eating.. It seems to work out pretty well that way.
Really wish I could get the exercise issue a bit more regimented but i am in a lot of pain pretty much daily...but then i am old and arthritsi is an issue...And I don't take anything for the pain. Advil i definately miss. I walk a lot...but the gym hurs...Hopefully when spring and warm weather come the achies will subside a bit.
I donated all my way too big clothes about 2 weeks ago and have a new batch ready to go again soon...Everything i owned, all my too small clothes are now too big....and i am holding out for size 14 before i buy anything...Well i did by a regular size large set of leggies and a stretchy shirt to use as long underwear...but nothing beyond that. pants thet never fit are too big...it is a bit of a mind bender...
well one thing i shouldn't hold out for is a new bra...the girls definate need some power lift ... what goes down must come up!!!!!
all in all this has been a pretty hard winter to do anything 100% right...Super cold here, my husband has been away for 2 months and counting and my RNY ajustments to get into... I am doing the beat i can and that is good by me....
Love to all us novemberites!!!!! we are rockin it!!! numbers or not we are all on the way!!! hugggggsters

Hello,
I am doing pretty good, I feel like I have not lost fast enough but I guess I expect too much.
I am down 60+ lbs since surgery and I go to the gym 4 times a week and do about 50 mins of cardio. I noticed that my hair has started to shed more than normal so I think that process has started- joy....
I have not gone to buy new clothes yet with the exception of a few things to wear to the gym.and underwear (my underwear fell off one day while walking into the office). so I don't really know how many sizes I have lost, my new nickname at work is baggy pants..
Good luck everyone.

I had my 3-month check up and consult with the nutritionist today. All-in-all they are very satisfied with my progress, but agree that my weight loss at this point should be greater than it is (~1 lb per week). I was advised to increase my proteins and fluids and if that doesn't help to keep a food diary for 3 days so they can evaluate what the problem might be. I am down from a size 22 to a 16 and had to buy new jeans this week because my old ones literally were falling off me.
I feel great alot better then I did, I was really regretting the surgery the first month, I have had 3 stalls I am in one now I was actually up 2 pounds which is weird I weigh myself everyday I try not too but I am compulsive. I have lost 34% of my body fat and 60 pounds since my surgery 11/20/08. Protien is the answer to helping break the stalls but it is hard to get it in I can barely eat and water intake is hard but I work at it everyday. I am constantly being referred to as hey skinny by friends/coworkers and family. It feels awesome great self esteem boost.
