I ate shrimp, only I must have cooked it too long. It was rubbery, I chewed and chewed but not enough. I was sick for hours, couldn't even get down water, never again!!!!

I had my surgery the day before you. Doing well I think. Not very hungry lately. I tried a new protein bar from smart forme, called bari-15 wafer snacks. They're like a wafer cookie. They were delicious! And they require little chewing, they melt in your mouth! http://www.smartforme.com/bari-15wafersnacks.aspx I have been trying to get more protein from food but I just can't even come close to getting in enough. I try to have a shake in the am with milk and milk powder to start my day. I find I get in my protein but not enough calories.

I'm doing great. I use the chocolate whey protein from Walmart. I mix it with FF milk in a blender. It doesn't taste too bad to me. Better than some of the other stuff I tried. I found a protein bar that I liked that didn't have too much sugar. I can't remember what it's called though. I know it when I see it. Hope everyone is well.

i like the no sugar added Carnation Instant Breakfast - chocolate - HOT.  it's my new hot cocoa.  I also "like" the ISOPURE ready made clear drinks in Icy Orange.  for protein snacks, I found on NashuaNutrition.com crunchy snacks by Kay's Natural and Chef Jay.  Protein enhanced nacho cheese curls!!!

I use the GNC 100% Designer Whey.  It has 18g of Protein, that plus the 8g from the milk makes quite a nice dent in the requirements for the day!  :-)  I add a scoop of the SF Carnation Instant Bkft Choc too!  31g all in one!  WOO HOO!  :-)

I agree, CHEW CHEW CHEW!  :-)

I have been  using IDS whey bullets.  It is a liquid protein that comes in something resembling a test tube.  It is 3.1 oz and 42 grams of protein.  It is perfect.  You can find them at GNC or a vitamin world.  I found through through another member on this website.
