i went to P.A.Ts on nov 7th weighing 341 had no diet so sure wasnt any lost for the ten days in between and today was first post op dr visit had jp drain removed and got weighed and wah-la 332 9lbs in 1wk not bad at all

Thats's awesome!  I actually had a 6 lb. gain after surgery with fluid retention and swelling. Now that that is all gone and I'm 3 weeks out I'm averaging 6 lbs. a week!  I do think it is all relative to your starting BMI too... it seems the higher it is, the faster it comes off... in the beginning anyway.  Keep up the good work!  You're on your way to a healthier new life!!!

At my first post op visit, which was 9 days after surgery, I was down 10 pounds from my surgery date.  Not a bad start at all!!!  Congrats on your weight loss, I'm glad everything is going well!

Congratz to you all I lost 16 lbs and stalled for a week, but amazing I got on the  scale to day and what do you know it moved!! from 248 to 246!!!! I just about cried!!! Thank you God for the scale moving!! come on 155!!!

Hey Sherry... you and I started out at the same weight!  Don't you worry, that 155 will be here before you know it!!!  Woohoo!!  Never felt so good to be a loser like it does now!!!

I had surgery on 11/13 and am down 14 lbs.  Hoping to start exersizing seriously (aerobics only) next week to boost the weight loss.

I've lost 16 since surgery which was on the 10th and 20 before surgery.  Coming home from surgery I stepped on the scale and was mortified to see that I had gained the 20lbs that I had lost, IV fluids!  So it's really starting to come off now, I hope it continues for a while.
