LOL - pizza is a weakness for me. My family wanted to bring some home last night and I said no way - bring anything else home, but smelling take out pizza would just be too hard. I can handle it when they make frozen pizza, but not take out!!
Tuesday is my day too! I haven't decided if I am going to try oatmeal or eggs first. I am a little scared about dumping as from what I read each person tolerates things differently and eggs can go either way!

I'm getting a realize band rather than a bypass. Shouldn't have the dumping problem what I hear.
The first thing I ate was eggs. I just made them scrambled though. I read it wrong and didn't realize I was supposed to puree those too. LOL I didn't have any problems i made sure I chewed them really well. I wasn't on pureed foods very long, I started Sat (1 and a half weeks out) and on Tuesday (2 weeks out) I was on soft foods. The one thing that I made that I really liked was the baked ricotta off of eggface's blog. That was so yummy.
My surgeon moves a lot faster than most, but because he is one of the best out there I really trust him. I was in the hospital for 2 days, before I left the hospital they had me on pureed foods. I have been eating puree foods for 3 weeks and just switched to soft foods now. I was told 3-4 weeks or whatever I could tolerate. So, since I have nearly no problems with eating I decided I would take on soft foods this week since Thanksgiving was coming. The things that I enjoyed the most when I was on puree was scrambled eggs with cheese...my partner can make them very soft and smooth and tasty so this was good. I also enjoyed pureed chicken with BBQ sauce, but I can eat a lot of stuff that most people can not.
